The IRIS is exclusively available for sale and installation in heavy vehicles for cargo or passenger transport through the network of Scania dealers within Brazil.
• 2. Somente em veículos eletrônicos poderá ser instalado o sistema ?
No, the IRIS can be installed older mechanical vehicles, however some vehicle events cannot be monitored.
• 3. Para acesso ao sistema de monitoramento é necessário a aquisição de um computador com configuração mínima ?
No, you only need to use a computer that has internet access and uses a standard internet browser. However, the performace will depend on the configuration of the computer used and the speed of your internet connection.
• 4. Em caso de problemas técnicos com os equipamentos instalados como deverei proceder ?
The maintenance of the IRIS itself is carreid out in any dealer in the Scania network.
• 5. Qual o tempo necessário para a realização da instalação dos equipamentos em meu veículo ?
The average time required is six hours. However this time can vary dependingh on the type, model and manufacturer of the vehicle.
• 6. Caso meu veículo seja vendido poderei transferir os equipamentos para o novo ?
Yes. Any Scania dealer can unistall and tranfer the IRIS to another vehicle. You will also need to supply new information to the Iris Control Center regarding the identity of the new vehicle.
• 7. O sistema de monitoramento opera em toda América Latina ?
Initially, the system is operating throughtout Brazil, Mercosul and Chile with the intention od expansion to cover all countries in South America
